What we grow

Sweet cherries are the darling of Morellmannen, and we are so happy with the fruit that we have chosen that the farm will have ripe morels for as long as possible, a full 9 weeks from the end of June to the end of August in a normal year, you don't get more summer than sweet cherries.

The first sign of autumn is of course plums when you live on an orchard. Well, if autumn is not in full swing, it is certainly not far off. Norwegian plums are known to be world-class in terms of sweetness, consistency and aroma. We have also chosen to extend the season as far as possible from the end of July to mid-September.

Raspberries are a favorite of many, and we grow them both outdoors and in tunnels, several varieties. From mid-July to the end of September.

A summer without strawberries is a deplorable thing. We have chosen to make up for it with strawberry plants that start early long before the summer, and when they take a short break in June, they take over the usual summer berries, before the others come back in mid-July and produce until well into October, if the weather allows for it. Almost six months of strawberries..

Pears are the fruit we have the most trees of, and the most tonnage. Short and hectic season, mid-August to mid-September with a number of varieties depending on taste and appearance.

If you want to eat something really fresh on a lazy summer day, preferably with a little sugar and cream, maybe even vanilla sauce, then currants set the standard.

A strangely tasty berry that has so much protection in the form of spikes on its branches that it's not always fun to harvest them, but still, they're in season.
