Raspberry

Lagorai

Season / ripening: From the beginning of June and as long as temperatures are above 10 degrees celcius on average

Lagorai is our main raspberry variety – and for good reason.

This Italian everbearing variety can, under the right conditions, continue producing fruit for up to five months. Rather than giving us one short and intense crop, it keeps producing new berries again and again, with remarkable quantities ready for picking every single day during the height of the season.

The berries are large, attractive and uniform, with good flavour and excellent overall quality. The eating experience can perhaps be a little drier than that of the eternal king of raspberries, Glen Ample – but that is about as far as we need to go to find something to criticise.

When a variety combines beautiful, large berries with an exceptionally long season and enormous yields, it is not difficult to understand why Lagorai has earned the leading role in our raspberry production.
